Spammer sending forged e-mails with our domain name

Someone has been spamming accounts worldwide and has been using our domain name thenextmint.com as a part of the fraudulent e-mails.

All recipients are strongly encouraged to search the header information of the e-mails to accurately determine the ISP of the spammer and to report the abuse to the spammer's ISP.

There has to be some information within the messages sent that is more accurate than just viewing the supposed sender's e-mail within the spammer's messages.

We will continue to fully cooperate with any authorities foreign and domestic that can bring such actions to an end.

We apologize for any messages received, but everyone should know and be aware that we are not the senders of any such abusive and annoying messages!!!

Primary Computer Downtime Just Ended

Our primary computer for processing orders on eBay was just repaired on Saturday, September 3, 2005. There are a lot of questions that were received over the past 2 weeks since the computer went down on August 20, 2005.

We were using a backup laptop while discovering that a better backup computer hardware needs to be obtained.

We will work feverishly to correct all errors and lack of communication experienced during the downtime.

We have also discovered that PayPal has not been making customer payments available to us. We have a button which will securely process any payments (all major credit cards and debit cards accepted) or we can invoice you directly.

Any payments sent through PayPal may face an extended delay until the problem can be corrected with PayPal.

We noticed that while PayPal has received customers' payments, PayPal has been looking for our company to fund any refunds while never having access to the previously received payments. This is a problem that must be absolutely corrected soon.

On Christmas Day 2004 on the other side of the world, You
moved.

We were already warned and foretold that a shift was in the
making.

After elections, car bombings, wars, economic downturns,
upswings, and conflict, You moved.

After gifts were opened, wrappings thrown away, and dinners
consumed, You moved.

Now I wonder if we really were celebrating You or rejoicing
within the isms of selfishness.

Now I wonder if the frowns of standing in lines, missed
parking spaces, bad customer service, and lack of getting anywhere on time were
really worth the frustration of it all.

Now I wonder if gift cards, video games, digital cameras,
cell phones and simple stuff can really replace what we now have found.

Now I wonder if we can ever go back to simply ignoring our
unseen brothers and sisters of the world.

Because we never met them, too many times we forgot to set
a place at the table.

Because we never shared a laugh, too many times we never
asked what made them cry.

Because we had too many issues of our own, we could easily
overlook what it would take to make them happy.

Because we never fully understood, we quickly found other
reasons to place our love elsewhere.

But now Youve changed all of that and we have a reminder
and a warning crystal clear.

It is Your desire that we love one another if we call
ourselves to be loving You.

It is Your aim that we make this world a reflection of what
You have created in heaven.

It is Your love that has created this world and has kept
these tsunamis from becoming any worse.

Finally after traffic and long commutes, we have something
else to think about.

After the lack of peace among mankind, we have something
else to think about.

After picking up weapons and swords, we have something else
to think about.

After realizing that without unconditional love and truly
loving one another worldwide, we have something else to think about.

After realizing that we were not fully living up to Your
expectations, we have something else to think about.

Now hopefully and for the better, we will never be the same
again.

Rest in peace Darrell Lynch

This afternoon I received a big surprise that made me think about the reasons reunions and staying in touch with friends and family are so special. Life is indeed precious.

My regular barber named Darrell Lynch was killed in a car accident on Memorial Day.

Darrell was born and raised in Greensboro, NC and he and his wife have one daughter.

I never met his wife nor child but he and I would talk about our families everytime I went to get a haircut.

He was a devout Christian and was just telling his friends and coworkers about "wanting to take his praise to the next level whatever that might be".

I believe that he achieved it through the grace of God.

He was making a left turn late at night and was not wearing a seat belt due a relative dying while wearing a seat belt. I cannot quite comprehend his logic behind not wearing a seat belt for himself.

Regardless, we have to make sure that we are not setting our families and children especially up to fail by not planning for our sudden demise if it should ever come that way.

This is the reason they are called accidents: no one plans for them to happen.

But as we seek to put food on the table and prepare our descendants for their futures, we can put them really ahead of the game by planning and covering ourselves if we were to suddenly leave them as well as through seeing them grow into mature, responsible adults.

Darrell was covered both spiritually and financially. His daughter requires special care and although no one could ever have fully predicted that he (or any of us) would leave this earth in the manner that he did, those left behind do not have to suffer twice for our good intentions that were never put into action.

I will definitely take Darrell's testimony and legacy into my new career as a financial advisor and my ministry.

Darrell is definitely an inspiration and encouragement even in death.

Are You Distracted?

I have noticed through observation that a lot of people are very distracted from the centers of gravity for whatever endeavor supposedly matters most to them.

You have everybody and their mama moonlighting in other people's business and nobody is fully able to know what is going on within their own houses:(

Why and how is it possible for someone to be living next to a serial killer or adults abusing their children without raising anyone's eyebrows?

Recently I called 911 to complain about neighbors having an excessive good time on a weekend night. The noise did not bother me until it went to 1:30 a.m.

The biggest thing about all of this was that the parents had their young children up at that hour as well as if they were vacationing at Disney World.

Another family was loud the same night and curtailed their activity at 11 p.m. while the other family had a kiddie pool and loud music.

I had to get involved because if you allow one to do it unchecked, then everybody else feels welcomed to do it on their own schedule.

The same family had the father telling his son not to blow a loud whistle as if the splashing and other stuff was not enough.

I called 911 around 1:30 a.m. and realized afterwards that everything might die down when the police finally arrive.

I heard a distinctive sound of 5-0 wheels whipping by at 2 a.m. and lo and behold, the family was back at it after taking a refreshment break or something.

Somehow through all of this, I realize that I lost my focus on the sleep and rest I was trying to get.

But isn't that a good reason to have loud neighbors?

Stay focused and keep smiling for more!

Thanks for your visit!

This is my attempt to dip my big toe into the world of blogging.

I am going to try it out and see how it goes as long as it does not become too burdensome and remains a labor of love.

I learned while writing my first book that the best time to stop something that started out as a joy is when it becomes too burdensome.

It is like talking until you get tired;)) You have to stop at some point.

I do not know if my pace will be daily or not. We will see.
